Customise your radiators by adding or removing sections with this cast iron radiator assembly tool. If you are looking for a radiator larger than those advertised, or you would like to downsize a radiator you have purchased, this hand assembly tool will allow you to safely join sections together. We have limits on the length of radiators we can assemble due to the risk of damage during transit. With this tool, you can join two radiators together to create a longer radiator.
Full instructions are provided with the assembly tool. If you are joining two radiators together, you will also need two additional joining nipples and gaskets to complete the installation. We have two cast iron radiator assembly tools available. The Balmoral style will require a smaller head and will be slightly shorter in length. Please confirm the radiator style before ordering a Type 1 or Type 2 tool.

Courier deliveries will be made via DPD Local usually on a next working day service. Scottish Highlands, Islands and other remote areas may take longer.
DPD collect from our premises on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays (excluding Bank Holidays).
Please ensure you share your mobile number with us so that you receive an email or SMS shortly from DPD notifying you of your delivery schedule.
You will then receive a 1 hour delivery time slot, so you don’t have to wait in all day.
Not only this, but DPD’s Predict service provides ‘In Flight’ tracking which means you will be able to watch the progress of your parcel delivery on a real-time map, all the way down to a final 15 minute timeslot. This will include a photo of your driver and their name.

Recently bought an assembly tool for radiators I purchased at an auction. I was unsure which assembly tool would be the correct size but having spoken to the company they reassured me that if it wasn’t correct that I could return it. They were extremely helpful. Luckily it fit and I was able to resize the radiators. It would be extremely helpful if there was rough measurement for the end shape of the assembly tools so I would be more confident when ordering that it would fit my radiators. Would definitely use this company again.

It works, at a cost.
I needed to reduce the number of columns on my cast iron radiator I bought from Coventry demolition years ago due to a reconfiguration of my living room.
I was able to do so with this tool which was far cheaper and less wasteful than buying a new radiator, however I do feel that the price is high for what is essentially a small rectangle of steel welded onto a shaft.
I do rate Coventry Demolition and have purchased from them several times and will no doubt continue using them in the future.

Great tool, I had a radiator to big, the tool allowed me to reduce the number of columns so the radiator will fit the pipework. The bonus is I can then add the leftovers to another radiator for another room.
