Can I keep my radiators if I switch to a heat pump?

When switching to a heat pump, you may need to update your radiators to ensure they are correctly sized. Radiators typically need to be larger when working at lower temperatures than a conventional gas boiler. With high temperature heat pumps, no change will be required, so you can keep your existing radiators. If you are updating the entire heating system (heat pump and new radiators) choosing cast iron radiators will allow you to make the most of the large internal volume and heat retaining properties of cast iron.
