If you’re new here, let us introduce the #MyRadRocks competition. We run this competition multiple times throughout the year to give our customers a chance to show off their radiator installations. There’s a £500 renovation voucher up for grabs, so the competition is fierce!

We welcome entries from professional and keen amateur interior designers alike, and the entries serve as an incredible source of inspiration for customers looking for design advice.

It’s wonderful to see the many different interpretations available with the humble cast iron radiator at the centre of the renovation. As you’ll see from the entries, cast iron radiators aren’t stuck in any particular era – they’ll take pride of place in contemporary and period interiors alike.

Onward to our latest round of finalists for the Spring 2026 #MyRadRocks competition…

Sophisticated office space from Nefarious Interiors

This room is a story of transformation. What was once a compact bathroom finds a new lease of life as a beautiful home office. The radiator placement under the window and below the desk will guarantee a cosy embrace for those work from home days.

The soft blue joinery and contrasting rich wooden shades pair perfectly with the cream carpet and cream white radiator.

Traditional hallway from Georgia Wild

We love the use of contrast in this entry from Georgia Wild. The striking beams draw the eye upward to the vaulted ceiling. The choice of the short school radiator in black is perfect for a space this size, providing warmth and visual interest, contrasting with the neutral shades of the walls, carpet and doorways.

Eclectic porch from Joni McClean

Vintage radiator beside potted cactus.

Joni has been busy decorating her Derry home with her signature eclectic style. Our Ascot radiator fits perfectly with her maximalist style, bringing in interesting new textures and patterns to sit alongside exposed brick, vintage rugs and raw wood.

While her style might be anything but traditional, Joni has actually adhered to a common Victorian trend by placing a highly ornate radiator in a prominent spot in the entrance to her home. This was a common signal of sophistication and style, while the more simple designs would be relegated to lesser-seen areas of the home.

Serene lounge space from Rachel White

Bright, minimalistic living room interior.

Rachel’s entry for the #MyRadRocks competition is this calm and serene lounge/dining room, complete with a super-sized 4-column radiator. We love to see a custom radiator in-situ.

The combination of the limestone tiled floor, cream white radiator and vintage accents creates the perfect environment for relaxing. It’s a clean and minimalist approach that creates a sense of serenity; a space to escape from the world.

And the winner is… Rachel White

The #MyRadRocks competition is always so difficult to judge, as there are so many incredible entries. We see the full scope of creativity on display, with infinite interpretations of how to use our cast iron radiators.

Rachel’s radiator placement stood out for a few reasons. First, we love to see a lesser-used colour take the spotlight. Rachel submitted a few photos of her home, so we got to see a range of rooms, each decorated with care and consideration. Original features are lovingly retained, and the addition of cast iron radiators brings a vintage charm to the space. Which is why she has scooped our £500 prize this time.
