Traditional Victorian 9 Column 330mm Cast Iron Radiator
A feat of Victorian engineering that deserves to take centre stage in your design plans. This design is a firm favourite for bay windows and for creating cosy window seating areas. The Traditional Victorian 9 Column cast iron radiator is a distinct style choice, with its short and wide dimensions that draw the eye down. This is a firm favourite in Victorian and Edwardian properties with expansive floor plans and space to fill. Available in 2 lengths, this short and stout cast iron radiator provides excellent heat output thanks to its position in the room – heat rises, so your 9 column radiator is perfectly placed to heat the coldest part of the room and deliver excellent airflow thanks to the column design. Complete your selection with our bespoke range of paint colours that represent the best of Victorian design.

Radiators are available professionally painted in one of our stunning bespoke radiator colours, or finished with a base coat only so you can arrange your own professional painting. Our exclusive colours include:
- Matt black
- Satin black
- Gunmetal grey
- Antique bronze
- Cream white
These colours can look very different depending on the surroundings, lighting and placement in the room. If you’re unsure about the right colour for your home, you can order painted bush end samples to help you to make a choice.
Our radiators are cast using traditional methods, which means there will always be differences between the sections along with fettling marks. These are all part of the charm of cast iron radiators and highlight the authenticity of this decades old craft.
As the radiators are hand assembled, all dimensions are approximate. We therefore advise that pipework should only be put in place once the radiator has been delivered.
Bush Ends
All bush ends/caps will only be hand tight to allow customers to interchange if on a gravity fed heating system & will need fitting correctly when installed with PTFE etc.
Accessories & Bleed Valves
All Fittings (Valves, Wall stays, Shrouds etc) ordered will be placed in a box located on top of the top radiator. Air Vents/bleed valves will be inside this box, within a SEALED ORANGE BAG stating ‘Bleed Valves Enclosed’, and stapled to the yellow A3 sheet with our Fitting Instructions. You MUST check it’s content upon delivery & report any missing items immediately.

We always recommend that you trust the installation and maintenance process to an appropriately trained and qualified professional.
Failure to follow our radiator installation guidelines could void your warranty.
We always advise you to wait for your cast iron radiators to be onsite before working out pipe work and pipe centres widths. This is because cast iron is not an exact product and because each radiator is hand assembled there will always be slight discrepancies as indicated on each radiator page in the lengths of same style & size radiators.
However, we appreciate that occasionally some prep work may need to be carried out prior to your order arriving onsite and that approximate pipe centre measurements may be required for first fix purposes.
In this instance, please refer to the technical drawing/specification document, saved as a PDF on each individual valve type, for the measurement from the thread on the valve tail to the centre point of the valve, and add this to the length of your radiator to work out your approximate pipe centre measurement.
For example, if fitting one of our Kenilworth Thermostatic Valve Sets, which has a measurement of 45mm from thread on the valve tail to the centre point of the valve, to a 10 section, Traditional Victorian radiator at 650mm wide, the approximate pipe centre measurement would be 740mm.
For the approximate measurement off the skirting board or wall if no skirting is used to the pipe centre we suggest half the depth of the cast iron radiator + 10mm as a minimum.
For the approximate ‘outside valve to outside valve measurement’ (the minimum measurement to be able to operate the valves freely) you should add approx. 150mm/6.0” to the length indicated for each radiator in the Specification tab, however this measurement will vary depending on the valve that is fitted – this measurement should be used if fitting the radiator and valves into an area where there may be a width restriction.
*PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE ABOVE MEASUREMENTS SHOULD BE USED AS A GUIDE ONLY.
Once you’ve made your selection, we will get to work assembling and painting your radiators. We’ll then carefully secure your package to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
Our delivery partner will keep you informed on the status of your order. You will receive email and SMS updates confirming the date and estimated time of delivery.

Beautiful radiators!
Purchased 4 of these as part of a larger order totalling over £7000. They are solid pieces of kit, well made, stylish and rather lovely chose anthracite grey – they will suit our Victorian home perfectly. The Engineers fitting them have also commented on their quality, and also said they were great to fit. An excellent service and by comparison to other quotes for similar product, represent excellent value for money. The Satin Nickel thermostatic Valves are also lovely and look well with these radiators. I am delighted with my purchases from the Cast Iron Radiator company and would recommend them to anyone needing new radiators.

9 Column 330mm radiator
Thought this might look too big and industrial, but looks amazing under a little window in my daughter’s bedroom. She sits on it and looks out of the window. Perfect. Really helpful service on the phone too.

Fantastic service, great product!
Bought an initial order of 5 rads, so impressed decided to go ahead and buy another 15 plus Valves for the House. Despite the size of the order they hit the target date. They also make use of great logistics firm Pallet Plus where I live) for delivery who were in communication about delivery day and times all the way until they arrived. Great service all the way from start to end.

Top of their game
Found these guys after a few online searches …. initially attracted by the very very keen pricing. I made an inquiry and once communication began I knew that I was going to purchase.
My order was not straightforward and there were several messages between us.
Also I’m ordering from Republic of Ireland and needed delivery to happen in a pretty tight window.
The entire process could not have gone more smoothly….. 100 percent delighted and more than happy to highly recommend this company. Thanks a million. Tim

Very hadnsome
We had two of these made in gunmetal grey – they really look the part, and they pump out heat really well, and keep hot for a good couple of hours after the system has shut off,, proper radiating radiators.

Traditional Victorian 9 Column
Excellent customer service and delivery timescales. The Radiator is made to a high standard , we opted for the black primer and followed the fitting and care instructions to the letter. Warms the hallway incredibly quick and retains the heat once the heating is switched off. Excellent product! highly recommended. Thank you.

Traditional Victorian 9 Column 330mm Cast Iron Rad
I bought three of these (14 column) in satin black plus fittings. I have to say I am very pleased with my purchase and they certainly are of excellent quality and look just the part. The only problem was the delivery. As confirmed, I was expecting them on the Monday but the delivery company phoned that day to say they couldn’t deliver because of an admin error on their part. Unfortunately I had my plumber at the ready to take them (curb side pallet) and fit. £75.00 wasted for his call-out (understandably) which was disappointing due to this failure – hence the 4 stars.

Lovely radiator
Great radiator – incredibly heavy (ours was 76kg) so be prepared to get two strong people to move. Installed well – clearly isn’t going to move anywhere! Currently warming my bedroom excellently.
