How system inhibitor protects your cast iron radiators:

Using our system inhibitor in your central heating system provides multiple benefits, including preventing corrosion, reducing limescale buildup, improving efficiency, and extending the lifespan of the system.
It also helps maintain system health and can save money on energy bills and repairs.
Ideal for new and existing systems

As stated in our fitting guidelines, appropriate inhibitor should be used in conjunction with manufacturer’s instructions and appropriate quantities must be used for the water content of the system.

As a function of their design, cast iron radiators will have substantially higher water content per radiator when compared to a modern steel panel radiator – In view of this, it may be necessary to add up to 3-4 times the standard amount of inhibitor to your heating system depending on the number of cast iron radiators installed.

As all heating systems are unique, please use as a guide only:

1 x bottle/500ml of inhibitor offers sufficient protection for heating systems of up to 100 litres, with water content information for our radiators shown under the specifications tab for each radiator product.

For larger heating systems, additional bottles of inhibitor may be required.

Please check the inhibitor levels required with your plumber, having used a dosing tool. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL INVALIDATE ANY WARRANTY OFFERED

Once inhibitor has been added to the central heating system at the correct levels, please ensure that sufficient inhibitor is present at all times, with these levels maintained and checked annually as per our fitting guidelines.
