Traditional Victorian 4 Column 660mm Cast Iron Radiator

We bought these radiators 4 years ago, and have been delighted with them. I’ve been prompted to write this review because we’ve come back to buy another one, so they must be good.

Everyone comments on how great these radiators look, and they are far better for heating our house than modern radiators.
Service was excellent too – emails and phone calls answered very rapidly, and loads of information provided to help us buy the correct sizes.

We have purchased several of these rads and are superb value for money with a great finish.

IMHO buy the valves to go with them.

Very quick delivery and superb value for money compared to local builders merchant and so called heating specialists. Bought 3 radiators altogether and they look fantastic and get very hot and stay hot after the heating has been turned off. Will never buy another steel panelled radiator again!
Do take more skill / patience to fit and ptfe tape is a must on all threads as being cast, threads are quite coarse.
Overall, 10 out of 10. Recomended.

I took delivery of my new radiator today (a bespoke 660mm x 8 section radiator in Gun Metal finish with Bentley Brass TRV valves) and just wanted to say many thanks for the prompt and efficient service. The radiator is beautiful and I can’t wait to get it fitted.

Excellent value for money good quality radiator.
This is the fourth of these radiators I have installed in my own home together with the traditional types of valves and thermostatic valves. I am extremely pleased with their heat performance. Their old style appearance also fits perfect in my cottage décor, many thanks.

We have spent a few thousand pounds on cast radiators, door handles etc with Coventry demolition over the last 3 or 4 years and have been very happy with what we have bought but even more so with their service and helpful attitude. They always deliver within a couple of days and the few small problems that we have had (split rad end cap, missing bleed valve) have been addressed quickly and without fuss.
A long as we continue to renovate properties we will continue to use Coventry Demolition.

Radiator looks great – great value, great service

All the items were as I expected and very happy with them, as they match previous items purchased. Sadly the delivery was manned by an idiot who seemed unable to drive down country roads and even asked me to walk up to find him (in a non specific location) and carry the items back to my delivery address. He refused to walk to find us. A complete idiot. I would suggest you review your regional delivery carriers (Dorset)

Ordered two of difference sizes, they are fantastic value , cannot recommend enough, get one, I know I will be ordering more. They are fantastic quality, and very heavy so call in a friend to lift them!

So pleased with the quality and design. However be aware that two persons will be needed to move these radiators as they are extremely heavy

Really beautiful quality! I am really pleased i went with these over reclaimed ones. The black satin finish is really lovely. They arrived when they said they would. Also the quality of the valves i received were excellent also.

Very happy with the quality of this radiator. The black satin finish is very nice. Our plumber said it was an easy radiator to fit which is good to know – I might well be replacing other radiators in the house.

Arrived later than expected due to league time of courier following dispatch. We were caught out by this and guests left cold on a visit. However love the product. The finish is a little under expected standard as there are paint drips in a couple of places.

We are really pleased with the quality of this product, especially as it was at least £120 cheaper than similar products we had looked at (and half the price of a bog standard Screwfix product). Looks good and works a treat. Happy to recommend the product and service.

Purchased two of the traditional rads in gunmetal grey, four and three columns for lounge and dining room and so pleased I did, they look great. Communication via email pre order was really helpful and delivery as expected. I was a bit anxious if they would look as good in the flesh but they are spot on and kick out plenty of heat. Purchased valves and stays from another place but the touch up paint was a good decision for the pipe work. Would definitely recommend

Superb radiator delivered quickly, just over a week for a made to order product. Be aware these radiators are exceptionally heavy and touch up paint was a must.

I looked at quite a few traditional radiators, but this one topped the list. Well built, sturdy, and painted to your option before delivery. The heat output is fantastic compared with our previous rad. Good delivery time from order, and was kept informed at all times. Any queries were answered quickly. Delivery is to your ‘kerb’ only and no help from the delivery guys, so had it delivered to my plumber. Maybe a little more expensive than some, but for the quality well worth it. Highly recommended.

I looked everywhere on the web and for some reason castironradiatorcentre interestd me. The website was very easy to navigate also ordering was easy. The products I had were radiators x 2, wall fixtures x 3, air screws, taps x 2 and top up paint.
Well what can I say?
Service excellent, feedback, and communication were all excellent. Delivery and packaging was all excellent.
To be honest I was nervous regarding spending all that money, but it was well worth it. My home feels and looks really nice having those cast iron radiators in the living and a little secret. I love sitting on them, warming my butt 😊

Purchased 19 radiators of varying sizes – to go into a renovation of a 1925 property – just over a ton in weight!

the ordering process and communication from CIRC and the delivery company was first class. It took two of us 6 hours to get the radiators from the lorry to situ in the property – the lorry driver was brilliant and helped us to get the products in to the house. (Please note that delivery is to kerb side & you should not expect this as standard so have help to hand).

The plumber’s feedback is that they are a joy to work with – fittings are easy to work with – especially as we had to reposition a few- we added the shrouds and sleeves and again easy to fit, adjust and look superb.

I would recommend buying or hiring a 6 wheel trolley – without this you will really struggle to manage even the lowest of steps never mind stairs! The trolley made getting the radiators up the stairs really easy!

Everyone who sees the radiators loves them – we have a lot of trades in and out the property and they in particular gush over them!!

A couple of things – use a plumber who knows what they are doing (thanks Gary) anyone who suggests using plastic to connect them – show them the door. If you are fitting a good number I would recommend fitting an extra good sized expansion chamber as this will easily cope with the added heat and steam created by cast iron and will prevent any issues in the future.

Was always a gamble spending so much and having the added issues with installation, however I couldn’t endorse these radiators or the service and higher.

Received confirmation from courier company that delivery was on 14th March but received call at work informing me driver was outside waiting for me on 13th March. I received verbal confirmation and via text.

These are substantial feature pieces that would grace any room. Our sons room is industrial and they look cool whereas the rest of our house is an old coach house and they are perfect there too. I love them. Arrived very quickly too.

I’ve ordered 12 of these radiators for a full house refurb and I absolutely love them. They look gorgeous, you can sit on them and they pump out the heat. You know you’ve made the right decision when you deal with a company who respond to queries almost immediately and whose post sales help is positive and responsive – when we had a problem with one of the radiators, C.I.R.C were quick to replace it – no questions asked. Thoroughly recommend.

Ordered these while on lockdown and arrived good time. This is the 2nd time we have ordered radiators and valves from this company. Products very good and customer service very professional they respond and that’s what we all look for in this day and age as a lot of companies have lost these basics. This is the 5th time I have ordered from them & as usual the product is gorgeous, the service is excellent & the delivery time was very quick (even during lockdown) . Product was temporarily suspended when I went to online to order it (I was panicking as it’s the last one I need to complete the rooms in my house & I thought this style might have been discounted ! ) , however, there was the option to receive an email once production resumed & it was the next day when I got an email to say I could go ahead & order. Phew!
Arrived so quickly too. Delivery is meant to be site but the delivery men has always brought it on a pallet up the driveway & into the garage for me . Fantastic products & service from start to delivery end. I recommend to everyone I know.

We purchased 5 of these radiators and we have been really pleased with the look and performance. One of the radiators developed a leak in 2020 therefore we reported it to customer services as we didn’t feel it was through any fault of our own. The radiator was replaced free of charge ( fitting at our expense), no quibbles. If only all companies honoured their word when it comes to warranties. So impressed with the rads and follow up service we are about to order more for a new extension. Highly recommended!!

Ordered £4000 pounds worth off cast iron rads two find on three rads you have fitted the outlet bush at the top and the air vent bush at the bottom now I have to try and take them out and refit on a finished item you need to take more care when sending them out and need to be checked

Our son & daughter in law have bought many radiators from the company so I’d seen them in situ and use. When we decided to start changing some of ours we didn’t hesitate to follow suit. We weren’t sure what size etc to purchase so we phoned the company for support. We gave sizes of the area to be heated which helped us to confirm size needed. Next we asked for advice about brackets valves etc once again without hesitation we were offered good advice. The service was calm, Informative and very professional as well as friendly.
We were kept up to date with the manufacturer of the rad plus expected delivery and sure enough everything went to plan and delivery was as promised. The lorry driver managed to deliver the pallet close to the house, once again a very friendly, helpful service. Hopefully in the new year we will be purchasing another. Thank you so much. I ordered this radiator to go underneath my bedroom window. I had previously bought reclaimed cast iron radiators so was familiar with painting them myself. I ordered this one in a black primer finish and sprayed it black myself using heat resistant paint. I am so pleased with it, thank you.

The radiators still haven’t been installed yet , but I am really impressed with how they look . I am also impressed with the service , informative , helpful , and kept up to date throughout .

This is the 4th radiator we’ve ordered as we loved the first 3. The radiators are gorgeous & so are the wall stays & valves. I bought these 2 of these rads 5 years ago and the seals had started to crumble.

The guys offered me replacements and even shipped back to me the valves which I forgot to remove from the old rads!

We installed 2 of these rads in our bedroom. They look fantastic. I definitely recommend purchasing the coordinating valves and pipe shrouds for a really polished finished. I also recommend the wall ties. The gun metal grey is exactly the colour I hoped for. Couldn’t be more pleased. Don’t know about efficiency yet as installed just as the heating was going off but am hoping they will retain heat like a storage heater as we have a heat pump, so lower Delta T values. Liked them so much I have now ordered one for my sons bedroom (I thought he would think they were old fashioned but he thinks they’re really cool!). Sales dpmt were helpful, delivery timely and very professional, although be aware – it is door step delivery and you need to get these extremely heavy rads inside before they start rusting. To carry upstairs we put a short wood pole at right angles through the front and back columns and walked them up with 2 people on each side. Easy peasy, but it would have been quite a heavy job with 2 people.

I previously fitted one of these and got good results. The range of sizes offered allowed me to replace exactly what I needed in a tight space.

I bought a cast iron radiator for my living room and it really elevated the room, it’s easy to install and the finish is done to high standard. I would recommend to order the matching bracket and valves as it looks more complete.

I bought this traditional style cast iron radiator and the quality and the heat is quite simply fabulous! I’ve bought similar from another well known UK vintage radiator company and the heat output was really disappointing considering the size, but this one is just what my cold blooded self required to keep my circulation going through the winter! Goods delivered on time as requested and any emails dealt with promptly – I couldn’t have asked for better and am absolutely delighted!!
